Undiscovered blues gems.....
I've been listening to Little Charlie and the Nightcats since 1986 and their new CD "Nine Lives" is killer. If you like that get "Night Vision" by them. "Jail Break" and "Straight Up" pass on though.Another artist that has been around for a while ...

Then check out Beyond the Mist side 2. This is very well recorded and the sound quality exceptional. Yeah maybe I'm spoiled it's just I traded in my KBFH after hearing Beyond the Mist.
The Smiths. The Stone Roses. James.
The album Laid by James is very good. It was in my top ten faves the year it was released. From start to finish not one bad track. I have various The Smiths on Vinyl but haven't listened to them lately. Liked the one Meat is Murder and the one wit...

James Dewar did the vocals on B.O.S. but really some of Trower's best work is in Procol Harum. The albums A Salty Dog,Home and Broken Barricades are some of the best rock of that era. I saw Procol Harum at the Santa Monica Civic on the Broken Barr...

A couple of other offerings that Trower did I think you would enjoy are "In City Dreams" a great recording and some of the best stuff he did since "Bridge of Sighs". "Passion" another solo album that really suprised me with some consistant hooks a...

Joni Mitchell Blue - Wow help me Agoners
I remember my Mom told me she went to a garage sale around 15 years ago and bought some records for me. Well my Mom is always buying stuff that I don't want anyway as she says it's the stuff you like. I said ok went over and there was Blue and the...
A simple question from the new guy ....
Vinyl is what I was raised on,I'm used to it. Yes you get pops and clicks but it's part of the package. Going into analog is costly, and maybe you'd be better off getting the best out of your digital source that you have. You don't list system but...
audiogon members or dealers
If you buy a new item and it is defective you ask for a brand spanking new one in return for replacement. If the dealer tells you they don't have one or this item was a close out then you ask for a full refund + shipping. You also have the dispute...
Recommendation: Gould Well-Tempered Clavier LP set
Are the colours of the label on the records different. I have some Bernstien that are Mono and the lable is grey and some that are stereo and they are red. The stereo disc's have an S and the Mono ones have an M in the catalog number.
Is the Kab Speedstrobe necessary with the VPI SDS?
I use my KAB for my Oracle and it's easy as all get out and like the man said peace of mind. I couldn't listen to some solo or duo instrument recordings with out knowing it is dead on. And don't even get me started with chamber Music. I calibrate ...
