Is anyone here still into live concerts these days?
But to respond to OP’s original post, yes I still love to go to concerts and go whenever I can. In the past year I’ve seen Matthew Sweet, Robert Plant/Alison Krauss, the Psychedelic Furs, the Jesus and Mary Chain, and Superchunk. I can sympathize...
Is anyone here still into live concerts these days?
@allenf1963 , I was filming a TNT movie called “Tecumseh, The Last Warrior”. It was part of a series of Turner movies about the Native American experience in early America. I was out of work, the money was good, and I had a blast. Ziggy’s was part...
Is anyone here still into live concerts these days?
@allenf1963 , I had the pleasure of discovering Ziggy’s in 1994. I was working as a movie extra and housed in the vacant Hane’s pantyhose plant next to WFU.  We got bored one night and went on campus to find something to do. Stumbled onto Ziggys a...
Some thoughts on dust covers
I have a Rega P8 and recently had the opportunity to play with a Naia. Can confirm that Rega ships their $13,000 TT with the same janky dust cover the P8 comes with, if that tells you anything.

After 20 years, in the market for a power amp
Fair question. But after 20 years, I’m ready for something else. I’m a huge Klaus Bunge fan, and I’m going to be sending the Khartago in for repair and to serve as a backup amp. (I gave my old backup away) But I’m not specifically opposed to going...
After 20 years, in the market for a power amp
Thank you for all the responses!   Part of what is making this difficult is that I am actually buying not so much for the GE’s, but rather what comes down the road (which could in fact be more GE’s). So the real exercise is what pairs well the Pr...

Yes, my preference is to pair it with a SS amp for power handling. Sound-wise, I very much like the way the Primaluna sounds. It was a huge improvement.  I listen to a lot of rock and folk, with a smattering of other genres.
