Speaker Questions and Recommendations @jbhiller I would love to attend an audio show. I also saw that RMAF in Denver takes place in October as well so that would be another option. You hit the nail on the head when you said sometimes we have to listen to new stuff!@islandmandan Those ...
Speaker Questions and Recommendations Good advice and much appreciated. I learn by asking and I am clearly not afraid to ask dumb questions!Love your handle by the way.
Speaker Questions and Recommendations @jjss49 I appreciate your comments. You are correct that I didn’t articulate what I am seeking to improve. I suppose like many in this hobby I am always curious about what might be “better” knowing that is a hard to define term. Obviously I could...
Better Records White Hot Stampers: Now the Story Can Be Told! @millercarbonThank you. Really appreciate your thoughtful responses. Very informative and very helpful. I’m not looking to buy a new amp now but I am sold on tubes (I swapped out a Plinius Hiato for the PL in my system) and am always looking for...
Better Records White Hot Stampers: Now the Story Can Be Told! I discovered this thread several days ago and have been reading it slowly throughout the week. Power Conditioning / Surge Protection I appreciate these suggestions. Thanks
1st Album you Ever Owned? @keegiumMy mother was disturbed about the things John Lennon said about the Beatles being bigger than God or something to that effect (obviously misunderstood) so she wouldn’t let me buy a Beatles album. I must have been about 10 years old at the ...
1st Album you Ever Owned? “Alvin & The Chipmunks Sing the Beatles”. Don’t judge. Bought it at Sears.
Question/Advice About Isolation Feet for Speakers I appreciate all the suggestions. I solved the problem in a very scientific manner. I removed the Gaia’s and went back to the way I had it before with the original carpet spikes. It sounds great! It was an example of over tweaking and over thinking.
Question/Advice About Isolation Feet for Speakers @stereo5:Did you have to adjust speaker placement when you applied the Gaia’s? |
