| Recommendation for Class-A integrated amp As others said, I have the last Coda 07x and the No 8 (v1) and the resale value is not a problem for me as definitely they are keepers. 10 years warranty is not bad either if you are the original buyer, 5 if you don't. | |

| Reccomend a good preamp for me. The lastest revision of the Coda 07x is indeed an excellent preamp, I love it. Heard that the SPL Elector is a bit warmer but haven't gotten the chance to listen to it yet, anyway I will keep the 07x. | |
| Are there any speakers for nearfield listening that sound GREAT at low volumes? Completely agree with bpoletti for the use of full range driver speakers for nearfield listening, otherwise the blend of 2 or more drivers won't happen perfectly at that distance. | |

| “Black background” — What really contributes to this phenomenon? @yermajesty, Shielded XLR like the Mogami Gold 2534 can help IF you really have RFI/EMI problem, otherwise the 6db gain (or so) of XLR versus RCA will just raise your noise floor by 6db...
