| dedicated power line I'm hoping someone can tell me about romex 10ga. vs. 10ga. wire that comes from a co. called Colonial, it says 600V on the wire. Will this wire do for dedicated lines? Thanks all for your responses. | |
| Need help finding cause of hum Ghosthouse, is the preamp selector on phono when this hum occurs. If so check the wires on your cartridge are seated all the way on cartridge prongs. You may also want to try cheater plugs. Good luck...Bill | |

| alon model 5 mk 2 JM, I've heard Alon V MK 1 with VTL monos in triode mode with NOS tubes,and also at higher price point the Dehavilland GM 70 monos. Both amps sounded great with the Alons, both were using the Alon black orpheus speaker wire. | |

| Got the itch again "real bad" for tube mono blocks I've had the AR VT100 with alon lotus sigs (90db),my friend has the VT 120 mono's on his alon V mk 1 (87db)...both are superb, the VTL has a little more bass and air, the AR has more dynamics,and pacing with all types of music...Happy Holidays...Bill |
