Too bad these conversations usually end up going sideways. The threads get longer and longer, and useful information more and more tedious to eek out.Question.  Once someone goes through a rebirth/reincarnation here on AGon, what age are they when ...

The all important measured proof...Just curious, what kind of wires is your friend using in his set up?
What audio aspect are you knowledgeable in?
With every one thing I learn, I realize there are two more things waiting for me.And so on, and so on, and so on...

Very fun and interesting project you've done!If the three drivers were sealed as stated above, based on the specs for the drivers, they will naturally have an F3 of 130hz, with a 0.105cuft which should make crossing over at that point quite simple...
The birth of a new thread dedicated to sharing our newly-acquired "old" LP's.
Seeing as I am north of the border, and we are in a lockdown here, going through used bins isn’t possible. Not sure why they don’t think used vinyl is an essential service, clearly the officials in charge don’t get it :)However, as pot is legal in...

@bdp24 So true! I don't know any audiophiles who "show off" their gear or records to anyone. They share what they have with joy!
Why is science just a starting point and not an end point?
Take 100 people, who have hearing that "measures well" (Really good hearing)Spend a year teaching those 100 people how to listen and what to listen for.Teach them to understand critical listening. In the same way a sommelier would be educated.Sit ...

So, you are unable to differentiate between the two.Again, is that because of the amps, or because of you?
Why is science just a starting point and not an end point?
@djones    Is that because of the gear being the same, or your inability to differentiate between the two?Can we get a test of your hearing done so we can know what you are hearing? And if we could have a scan of the electrical impulses in your bra...
