Bi-Wire Cables under $350 (Used or New)
If 5 feet works for you I have a pair of DH Labs Q-10 bi-wired double run you could try.  Essentially a shotgun pair w/spades on amp end and banana plugs on speaker ends all factory terminated.
Amp pairing with Tannoy Turnberry?
now for something completely different....I'm using the new Atma-Sphere class D monos with my Stirling GR's and think it could be something you might like.  My listening session last night was memorable I'm not sure anything could better it except...
My first tube integrated: which one to get?
Cary all the way.  Years ago I owned a couple SLI-80's and the Cronus Magnum I.  Cary is all hardwired point to point wired unlike Rogue and sounded way better to me especially in triode mode.
Welcome to Hell, here's your 8-Track
Dekay sure LOL, cough cough, shoved in just right on the underside of the case.  Denatured wood alcohol & q-tips to clean the heads.  And the hokey vinyl covered cases for them that looked like cheap luggage.  Anything detroit built had 6x9's ...
Balanced vs. Single Ended Interconnects
Sorry petg60 I should have clarified I’m talking about AES-48 compliant components only please excuse my omission on that.
Balanced vs. Single Ended Interconnects
I was recommended by some very knowledgeable and respected high end manufacturers of amps and preamps the "Mogami Studio Gold Neglex Quad XLR" and bought it at Sweetwater pro music store online for a little more than $100/pair.  The Mogami website...
Arcam CD23 worth saving?
That was/is a great CD player I had the CD23 & CD23T years ago and kept coming back to the ring DAC players.  Finally gave up on spinners after changing out 3 laser drives on my most recent Cary CD players and went with a DAC/streamer setup gl...
Primaluna or not Primaluna
Congrats on the Quicksilver mid-monos simna they out to be great w/your Tannoys.  Yes, there are a good many Tannoy fans here.  I've been thru a lot of tube amps and am smitten with new class D monos from Atma-Sphere paired with Stirlings.
Cable burn in
Hey chiadrum I have a Cary DMS-600 I bought used as a trade-in from Cary and am enjoying it immensely.  I asked Cary if it was a truly balanced circuit (conforms to AES-48 standard) via XLR's and they said yes (?).  I run the Cary direct into bala...
Atma-Sphere Class D… Amazing
hgeifman-  I've had the new Atma-sphere class D monos in my system for exactly 3 weeks today not using a pre-amp and they sound fantastic.  I researched whether or not they could be driven by my Cary DMS-600 before I took the plunge.  They are ...
Class D Amplification Announcement
soix - the amp it's replacing is Music Reference RM10 MkII which I've enjoyed for 11 years now, one of my favorites of a long line of high quality tube and SS amps.
Class D Amplification Announcement
A little over a week ago I took delivery of the Atma-sphere class D monos and they were great out of the box but after 3 days they really opened up and are the best amps I've ever heard or owned and wonderful with my Tannoys.  I'm hearing more det...
What speakers are you using with your BAT 75SE amp?
A new pair of Tannoy Stirling GR's or used Turnberrys and you'll be in heaven.  Great w/tubes and I bet you can get a pair shipped to you for under budget.  I heard the VK60 years ago great!
From separate streamer and DAC to al-in-one suggestion
I bought a Cary DMS-600 from Cary in NC that was a traded in unit.  Great price and product.  Never owned a dac or streamer before and jumped in via Qobuz and am glad I did.  Cary CD players last 20 yrs or so......vinyl way back when.  Enjoy!
Suggest one obsure album we all should hear
