First impressions of the Isoacoustic Gaia 1’s
Well I have the Critical Mass footers under my equipment. ozzy
First impressions of the Isoacoustic Gaia 1’s
curiousjim, After reviewing your speakers, I do think that the Gaia’s would work better. The design is such that the outriggers support the speakers. ozzy

tecknik, Well I am still experimenting. I have removed the Russ Andrews ground lead to my Niagara 7000. I think the Niagara does more ground clean up by itself. So, today I have the Russ Andrews unit leads to the chassis of my Lumin X1 power sup...
First impressions of the Isoacoustic Gaia 1’s
seanheis1, I am just stating my ACTUAL experience since I own both the Gaias and the Townshends. No plugs just trying to share information. ozzy
Power Cable Break In - Such a Change!
jdub39, I am using the Furutech NCF Rhodium I have 6 of them on my 3 dedicated lines. But, I hear ya and I may get a Audioquest Edison specifically for my Niagara 7000. ozzy
Well I joined the Silversmith FIDELIUM Speaker cable club today
I do think there is something about this wires design that did not mesh with my equipment. More resistance? I dunno. I am using tubes amps and when I tried these cables the bass, treble and dynamics was anemic. It had a good midrange though. And,...
most beautiful (looking) speakers
I kinda like the look of my Focal Sopra 2's. ozzy
First impressions of the Isoacoustic Gaia 1’s
curiousjim, The only reason I would remove your metal plate is because you said it has bumps on it from where the spikes are to go. That could be a problem with stability. So, if it is easy to remove I would. BTW, once the podiums are installed...
First impressions of the Isoacoustic Gaia 1’s
Now this is just my opinion, but I think part of the Podiums effectiveness is due to the fact they they are connected to a very stable and rigid steel platform. They work together as one unit. I don't think the pods by themselves would be as effe...
First impressions of the Isoacoustic Gaia 1’s
I had the Gaia 1’s under my Sopra 2 speakers and was quite impressed with them. Then one of threads talked about the Townshend podiums. I contacted them via email (in England) and they responded the next day. I ordered them and once installed I c...
Grounding cable gauge size
Yesterday, I disconnected the Russ Andrews unit from the Entreq. I feel the music sounds better with the Russ Andrews unit connected to just my chassis ground. ie; Lumin X1 ground terminal and the AC ground into my Niagara 7000. ozzy
Power Cable Break In - Such a Change!
Just received my 3rd Dragon (Source) power cord. This version no longer has the braided cable otherwise everything looks the same. First listen, better, clearer, sounding images. Especially so far with acoustic guitars. Now for the crazy break i...
Turn off or leave on?
In my mind, leaving components on 24/7 is probably the best for sonic performance at least when initially playing the system. But, since I have 18 tubes in my system and I am somewhat energy conscience (if only to conserve $$$ from the Electric c...

Try the Townshend Platforms. They are even better than the Gaia's. ozzy

tksteingraber, I have my Entreq Silver Tellus connected to the (source) RCA’s to my Lumin X1 and JL CR-1 Crossover. No preamp is used. The Entreq then is also connected to my very large DIY ground box (pictures on my systems page) which also con...
