Whats playing on your system today? John "Cougar" Mellencamp. He sure did a lot of catchy tunes. However, I heard him interviewed recently and he seems a little whacky. ozzy
How is Quality and Customer Service defined in the 21st Century? I had to call my cable company about continued interrupted service. The hold time was 1 hour! And the service rep was in Jamica! He was actually useless for my issue. ozzy
What speaker could safely be ordered without hearing it first? I just placed a review of the Clarisys Minuet speakers in the Members Review Forum section. ozzy
Whats playing on your system today? I've been playing the Bee Gees greatest hits and a few others. I know, I know, but I was really surprised as to how many really great songs they did! ozzy
What would your "perfect speaker" sound like. Probably wireless with built in amplification, and perhaps room correction. But it must sound as good as any planar/ribbon/dynamic speaker. ozzy
Best way to clean glossy finish on speakers? I use a product called Novus. There is a 1,2,3 versions for additional polishing. ozzy
Footers- Break In? Such A Change. Well, I just set up the Clarisys speakers. Whew they are heavy! Anyway, I don't see any practical way to put Critical Mass LS footers or podiums underneath them. Too bad someone doesn't make a footer that can double as a furniture mover disc. o...

Am I wasting money on the theory of Bi-amping? So, will you be using Y adapters to connect to the 2 Amps? ozzy
Footers- Break In? Such A Change. magnuman, I am not sure about the Critical Mass footers for speakers. However, with my new speakers: (Clarisys Minute, when they arrive) they may / or may not be an option, I’m not sure. The new speakers look to have aluminum feet so it may be a ...
Radical toe in once more Interesting topic. I will (hopefully) have new speakers next week. They are of the Planar/ribbon design. I have been told that they should be placed with no toe in, no absorptive materials behind them or at 1st reflection points and place them abo...
Warranty repair wait times - serious industry problem?? I had a Tascam recorder that was at the warranty repair service for over 4 months. I was told some people had been waiting for over a year! Sorta of like a badge of honor? Anyway, they said if I wanted to pay extra, I could move up the waiting li...
Sopra 2 Amp Recommendation With Focal Sopra 2's I was using the Bob Carver Raven 350 WPC mono blocks running straight out from a Lumin X1. Loved the combo. ozzy
What speaker could safely be ordered without hearing it first? If you read the latest on Positive Feedback, there is a recent review about the Clarisys Minute speakers. Those are the exact speakers I am getting! So, they should be broken in when I get them. I just hope the reviewer hasn't wore them out... ...
What speaker could safely be ordered without hearing it first? I really hope these sound as good as the reviews say, it was definitely a stretch for me financially. ozzy |
