| Should I upgrade the cable of my Line Conditioner? I have never tried the equipment you have, but generally everything matters in this crazy hobby. But it will only be as good as the weakest link. In other words, perhaps try a better power cord but don't go overboard. ozzy | |

| The Best Preamp is no Preamp? The Lumin X1 has an excellent volume control albeit the X1 was expensive but when I sold my preamp, cables, footers the difference was not too bad. And boy did I improve the sound quality. ozzy | |

| The Best Preamp is no Preamp? After purchasing the Lumin X1, I realized how much cleaner, open and dynamic the sound can be without a preamp. I ended up selling my Ayre KX-20 preamp along with all the extra cables, footers and streamlined my system. ozzy |
