Hank Jones is most certainly one of my favorite jazz pianists; I don't know why that writer didn't mention the album "Somethin Else", that featured Hank Jones;      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u37RF5xKNq8&list=PLTIb4fKCEAevQGcDKFIXdimOXsM...

Normally a person likes a tune best by the first artist he heard play it, but in this case I liked Cannonball's version the best. Bill Evans was on piano in that version as well. Now I'll get enjoyment from all the versions of "Nardis".Thanks.

The best of both worlds is to down-load your vinyl to hard drive; that way you can hear your records in any order you choose from the convenience of your listening chair. There is not one iota of anything lost in my rig as a result of down-loading ...
Watts and power
I earned a living for my entire adult life as an electronics technician. I have a "First Class" radio telephone operators license. Most people today don't even know what that is, but once upon a time it meant something. I go back to a time when...

Uberwaltz and Gusser, since our projects are expensive and time consuming, spare no expense in getting the most from your efforts. Each time, before recording, clean heads and de-magnetize them. Be sure you have rubber-cleaner for your rollers; wh...

Reel to reel
Gusser, I just checked your post, and it warms my heart that you share in my passion for the reel to reel. When I went back to those "you tube" links that I posted, it brought back so many wonderful memories; that was a time when so many good thi...
