Why Are People So Concerned About How Others Spend Their Money? Well I appreciate your 2 cents worth, 4.98 more I could have got a cup of coffee and 2.00 dollars MORE after that would have gotten me a 50 cent donut, with way to much icing on it. :-) Same difference isn't it? 7.00 dollars for coffee and a donu...

Help with McIntosh Repair Facility That is some expensive bench test. A test to give an estimate is normally 130-170.00 on the west coast. Sometimes it refundable, if they can't get to you before 90 days. It is still applicable to the total cost. 350.00 is WAY out of line and a 250...
amplifier longevity I hate when my valve springs a leak.. :-) It just "Depends" LOL. Not yet, though. When I get there I might look to the great beyond for a eternal solution. When it’s time it’s time.. :-) I say, SCREAM at heaven, "And American Irishman is coming". ...
How do you explain audiophiles to your friends? A person that considers themselves an audiophile is an andiophile and NO ONE has a say so in that, but that person. Usually the person that puts stock in what someone else thinks about them has a wrong approach in my opinion to what an audiophile...

Why not use a piece of silver wire instead of a jumper cable? "Tin the end with 4% silver solder and silicone the tube closed." I've found that silicone makes the sound top heavy. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>...
"Transferred from original analogue master tapes" Sound impressive on the cover, now how does it sound to you? Nothing else matter unless they are going NUTS on the price.. There is a point where analog is good enough. I listen to 78s still. LOL Regards
Why not use a piece of silver wire instead of a jumper cable? Teflon is good, BUT try air. Take a piece of # 22 OCC copper and rap that piece of pure silver about 1 turn per inch. Tuck it in the air tube. Tin the end with 4% silver solder and silicone the tube closed. Dip the ends in graphene dust and instal...

Why not use a piece of silver wire instead of a jumper cable? Yes I have, now reverse the direction on your jumper and see if it sounds better one way than the other.
