Grounding with a Earth box?
That is a pretty interesting view MC,  I'm going to add optimistic, BUT I'll buy the plausible, all the way..  I'm all about the tweak, to a point.I'm out of there when the ol "Necromancer" and the chanting begins though..IF I could bring myself t...
Professional Identification help needed!
So it was auctioned on EBay? Why didn't OP say "I bought it on EBay, here is the auction number". That is the weirdest thing, to be able to put in an auction number and find out what's going on an EBay. That is a serious search engine..I'm glad OP...

How on earth would anyone know where YOU bought an amp? What does an auction number have to do with what it says on the amp. You paid for something you didn't look at? You lost me all together, ONCE again I'm pretty thick, but read what you posted...
Grounding with a Earth box?
A QUESTION?If the neutral and the ground are tied together at this box, how does that work for noise? The ground is the garbage collector right? Am I trying to dump the noise through the ground? What stop STUFF from going backwards? I mean AC is d...
Decware: a worthwhile option?
I had a pair of his EARLY TorII 60 watt per channel MB..   No lack of power just a load issue on Strathearn Ribbons. For some reason that amp got a little wiggy.. Those Ribbons dropped to 1.4 ohms at 150 200 hz or so.. Did not sound good.. A push ...

OP, look here first and gather some good information.Servo bass units..http://www.rythmikaudio.com/With Wilsons.. Gotta be a good combo. Understand me, I know NOTHING about Wilson. I have two friend that are Watt Puppy fans. They have done everyth...

Class D
We’re talkin’ glue factory boys... this horse is dead..Of course class D is good, NO they are not a Pass Labs amp or sound like one. They do sound pretty good though.. I love them doing bass duty..Nice and cool running..for the summer months doing...
Life span of silver cables with cotton/air dielectric

Life span of silver cables with cotton/air dielectric
Cotton with a teflon wrap? If the guy did it by hand and used gloves it helps A LOT. Still the ends will tarnish and that is actually a good thing..That fuzzy/tarnish is very conductive. Its a good sign the cable is settled to. You can treat it wi...
Is room size considered when they design speakers?
BIG speakers that move a lot of air, work better for me in a ported ROOM...Large Baffle speakers that DON’T move a lot of air but have a wide baffle add a LOT of early bass reflections BACK to the sweet spot. The smaller the room and the larger th...

will changing to solid-state make the bass in my wilson sophias better at low volume?
Leave it alone and get a couple of sealed 8 - 10' sealed port (small) subs and be very happy. I NEVER use tubes for bass in my main system. Just doesn't work.  25-50 watts will do great from 60-100hz and UP.Below that is the BLOATED BASS issue typ...
