A different view of power cords May sound weird but some of the old PC were just heavy copper with cold welded copper terminal ends.. 15 amp rating.. A lot of amps are voiced for just that.. Heavy copper. It's what they used at the factory to test them I bet....Regards
Is $2,844 too much to pay for a fuse? 28.50 yes, 2844.00 NO. My class ds were a whole 1200.00 each at the time.. Still less than ONE fuse.. 2 Amps 2400.002 Fuses 5688.00What happens when the fuse is removed all together and a piece of silver wire for 2 dollars is put in its place, I s...
Do no harm to a signal! Does this mean..... The thread is young... :-) If it dives into totally stupid Master M. and MC will chime in.. there is only so much time, might as well spend it wisely..Anyways, MC is trying out some new cable products, not SR. Happy as a clam from what I hear..BT...

Do no harm to a signal! Does this mean..... I did validate it with the most important person that listens to MY system.. ME.You don’t even come into play other than being annoying and spewing misinformation.. I don’t mind correcting you but you are becoming a bit boring..BTW, no golden ears...

Why Do So Many Audiophiles Reject Blind Testing Of Audio Components? There you go again cakyol with the under breath slighted remarks that spew nothing but JEALOUSY. Not because you can’t hear the difference, but because you WON’T.. you would make a horrible mechanic. I’d give you 3 months before they’d give you th...
Initial disappointment with 1st set of “expensive’ IC’s... Well OP at least your honest with yourself and others. Some would have us believe their word is gospel. It’s not. If you can’t distinguish between different cables, join the crowd. A LOT of the old zips and off the spool cabling were OK.. BUT a so...
Russco, QRK, Sparco, Garrard, Thoren, Fairchild, Roberts No I haven't used Dynamat, BUT I have used black hole and a few others.Dynamat will work just fine. So does the spray on TV that seals gutters and BOATS. Flex Seal. Tape everything off and a coat or two.. Same with the platter. You can use silicon...
What is an audiophile? Are you an audiophile? What about the guy that can't hear anymore but still composes music, by laying their head on the piano? Being able to hear GOOD, I'm not so sure.. It's a memory thing too.. You can remember the way it sounds in your head. Can't YOU? I sure can. Me...
Why Do So Many Audiophiles Reject Blind Testing Of Audio Components? By virtue of being on these forums and making recommendations, YOU ARE, and you know OHM (my new short form for you), that many on here are very forward in trying to convince others purely on sighted testing. <<<<<<<<<...

Do no harm to a signal! Does this mean..... First of all it is NOT plug and play. You plug, in let it settle for a day or so and then listen. You can't swap a cable set and expect to hear what they are going to sound like for a while. How long is a while? If the cable are seasoned, 24 hours...
Turntable Oscilloscope Readings Somehow your testing is being skewed, the final test is always "Listen"Funny how that works.. Some how the data collection is off at the point of collection.. or how it’s being transmitted to the scope. Something is amiss.. Could just be the bias ...
Math + Logic + Science = something completely mad... So now I'm thinking some basic 12-gauge Belden with some nicely welded spade ends from Blue Jean Cable is the correct answer here. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>... |
