Subwoofer recommendations for mostly music
I have narrowed the field down to the HSU VTF-3 MK2 or the ACI Force. I would love to buy a REL, but they seem to be difficult to find - only sold by Sumiko Audio in the USA and rather expensive - and would love to get the ACI Titan, but it is way...

As a member of the baby boom generation, having been brought up by parents who went through the Great Depression, I guess I have this knee-jerk reaction - I can't leave a room without turning off the lights, unless I'm going to be right back, I cl...

I finally checked my current subwoofer to see what it is. It's a Velodyne CHT-8. Now you know why I want to replace it!!

Thank you all for your responses. I will check out all of the suggestions. I forgot to check last night to see which Velodyne sub I have - I bought it at Circuit City so, not to stereotype a big box store or anything, I am assuming it wasn't hi-fi...

Hmmm - no one seems to have an opinion about whether or not bundling cables together could lead to some negative sonic effects. And I thought everyone in the cable forum was opinionated! (j/k) Well, I took the leap and have ordered some of the Fle...

Tonearm for Teres turntable - approx $1000 - ??
Hi Raul - I do indeed believe in the "burn in" factor for cables and other audio equipment - too many people way more knowledgeable than me swear by it - but is there any problem with just letting things burn in through normal use?Holly

Thanks, Raul. I'm glad I won't need to spend extra $$ for a phono cable - and I'm also glad to know what sort of cable connector the DP6 has.Holly

Tonearm for Teres turntable - approx $1000 - ??
Rauliruegas - I am surprised that you feel the Morch DP6 is a better arm than the Graham 2.2, but am glad to have your input. I realize that a higher price is not necessarily the equivalent of better quality, but I haven't read any other negative ...

Thanks for the link, Raul. I have looked at Audio Advancements before. They appear to be another site that doesn't sell on line - and they don't even list prices! Oh well, I have emailed them to get more information, and I will probably call Music...
