Help design my new system Ok I am a little confused. I am looking at a Preamp/amp system, and I never see HDMI on the Preamp. Am I just seeing older models, or is there a better way to hook up your BluRay other then HDMI?
Help design my new system The more I look into this, the more I would rather spend the Money on the system downstairs. If anything, is there a nice Receiver that has Wifi built in now? We would like to be able to play the cloud through our upstairs system.
Help design my new system I do not see Pre-amps with HDMI hookup. Since I am looking at only doing 2 channel, is this why there are no HDMI hookups? With my current setup, we have our Blu ray and Hi Def cable box hooked up via HDMI, but we run just the left and right speak...
Help design my new system I kind of Want a all in one system here I guess. I want to be be able to hook up my Blu Ray, Play cd's and plug in my TV source. With that said, I am thinking an OPPO 105 as a preamp, cd player and Blu Ray, paired with a Bryston or similar 2 Chann...
Help design my new system I assume I need to go with a 105 for the most Web related stuff? My wife would love to be able to play music off the TV using the Cromecast and the Cloud.
Help design my new system Can a OPPO Blu Ray player be used to run both my CD player, and then also be used to send the movie signal to the speakers through the amps? I mean I assume the OPPO may play as well as my User CD player does? I use a Sony Blu Ray now, and have ne...
$1750 AVR/separates + disc player budget:thoughts? Thanks all, I am so glad I read this. I am also going to build a Home Theater as well, and was looking at the Oppo 105. But after reading this, I will just stick with my Sony Blue Ray, and spend the rest of 3K on the Projector and Pre/Pro. I will ...
Oh My what to do? So I have had my PSB's for 2 days now, and I have to say, I am glad the Swans went bad. The PSB's are so much better. The imaging is Insane! And I hear things in my music I have never heard before. The only bad thing is, Now I want better PSB's lol
What's under your sub? This is interesting... I have a VMPS sub with a Front firing 12" and a 15" Radiator firing from the bottom. Right now it sits on a thick carpeted floor on the second floor, so its a wood subfloor. any thoughts??
What is best sub to match with Magnepan? I would look at a VMPS sub, back when I was looking into Maggies many told me to try this sub, as it has some clay ribbon that you can remove or add as needed to speed the woofer. Another way of thinking about it, is it comes from a company that u...
Oh My what to do? I ordered the PSB T's in Gloss Black to match my VMPS sub. I am keeping the Swan 5.2R's and may use them again for a second system. He He.. my way of getting two killer system. I will let you know how they match up once I have them.
Oh My what to do? Cool I am going to do the PSB T's. Now just deciding on the color.
Oh My what to do? Well, Only 1 speaker is Blown, the other two play but at a very low db. If I have the Tone set to 0 on the left side, even having the right set at 10 is not as loud as the left. To me this has to be a crossover issue, and Swan says, they do not ha...
Oh My what to do? Well I have already spoke to Swan, and he was aware of my problem, as he said, "I already know of your situation from your dealer, and am still looking for a way to fix this." That was over a week ago. I did buy the Swans as Demo's at a very good ...
5.1 to 7.1 OK last update... I think the MIT Duplex is the biggest winner. My wife first said Oh my.... baby it looks like I have a new TV! Much later we hosted a Football party, and I heard many people say the TV upstairs has a much better picture.... Well ... |
