Getting The Most Out Of My Scout The scout is a great TT.Years back i had them on Ultra Symposium-makes a huge discernible difference. The Mint LP protractor is also very good. The difference is the quiteness of the sound as well as the free flowing sense of musicality.I would hig...
New favorite VINYL Album? where can one buy these Chris Isaak albums ? are these new pressings ?
which is better ? MC phono stage or MM+step-up ? some say, this is just heresay, that adding a step up to an mm phono stage, adds some flavour to the sound, while other say it adds more gain ?
Next Analog Steps: VPI Scout Users i would go for the Shelter 5000 or 7000 for that table. Its quite a good synergy
Recommendation needed for Turntable for slightly a little bit more than your budget, a used vpi scout would be great!
Harbeth SHL5 vs 40.1 if i had the room for the 40.1 i would seriously consider them, otherwise i'll just stick to my SHL5s.The bigger harbeths definitely need room to breath, otherwise, the bass could be an issue.

Phono stages belong to which tier? Tom Evans would probably be here as well like the Groove X or the SRX version.

Has anyone heard the VPI Classic yet Thanks Guys!I helped out the dealer.I took out the belt and turned on the motor. Guess what, sometimes it spins, sometimes it doesn't spin. However, if i turn the pulley, then the thing spins.Same when the belt is attached to the platter, it needs ...
What amplifier for Harbeth HL-5? SHL5s are not very fussy of amps irregardless tubes or s/s.I have heard them in most combos and permutations and they sound great. If you want a warmer presentation, more rounded, the tubes are the way to go!If you want a more incise, detailed, def...
Tubes for Modulus 3A Tungsram 6922s are cool!!!
Has anyone heard the VPI Classic yet The delay is sometimes more than a few seconds. Sometimes it wouldnt even start at all!The dealer told me that the TT pulley is for 50hz which is incorrect & it needs a 60hz pulley. The electricity is 60hz.Therefore, would this account for thi... |
