An Odd Question
Noble100...No apology needed ! I'm with you! So much craziness now...hopefully our love of music/audio provides some relief.
An Odd Question
Man, I was just wondering if my guitars were rattling!
An Odd Question
oldjazzer...The D-18 must be unreal...pre-war D-18's are the finest acoustic guitars I've played.  Wad the effect of the 8 guitars obvious, buzzing or sympathetic resonance, or was it more subtle? My culprits, if they are messing with me at all,  ...

Fretwraps ...new to me...sounds like an easy solution to this issue. Thanks. I'll explore.

Thats true...capo would just raise the pitch, not really address the issue.  Good point...Now I'm fiddling with where in the room the guitars should be...limited options based on space and room shape... Maybe I just accept the idea that the stereo...

Best song for immediate impact when presenting or testing?
Muddy Waters "Folk Singer" SACD is pretty mind blowing for the uninitiated.
Integrated Amp For Snell Type J's
Thanks for the feedback. I do like the idea of keeping components of like vintage if possible, but we shall see. I may end up using an Onkyo A 9555 Integrated that I have which would probably be fine with these ancient Snells..
Integrated Amp For Snell Type J's
They are original Type J's. I used them as primary speakers for about 30 years. They retired around 2010, and I recently replaced the tweeters and crossovers. I tried them with a mid 60's Scott Integrated tube amp, which just didn't have the power...
