best streamer for Amazon Music HD
I'm also an AmazonUHD fan. It coincides well with typical Amazon account, add-on to Prime membership. Cancelled Tidal when AmazonUHD launched.Have both Denon AVRX6400H (HT system) and NAD C388 w/BluOS2i (2ch system). Both AmazonUHD capable, NAD is...
Is there any streamer/integrated competitor to NAD C-388 w/BluOS2i MDC?
djones51  Thanks! M33 has a much nicer display/touchscreen than M32 and C388.Looks like they removed the digital output of M32 - bummer, because with that you can use the M32 as a streamer/preamp, and run it through a separate DAC to external am...
Is there any streamer/integrated competitor to NAD C-388 w/BluOS2i MDC?
NAD M32 may be a contender. Upgrade from the C388 in the amp section. Where C388 has Hypex UcD, M32 has Ncore? (upgrade from Ucd in the Hypex line) - lower THD and higher dampening, better front panel display and remote than C388. What I find abou...

Is there any streamer/integrated competitor to NAD C-388 w/BluOS2i MDC?
After being told the "cheap" DAC (Burr Brown PCM1975 24bit/192kHz chipset) in NAD C388 wBluOS2i MDC might make music sound "flat", I’m on the hunt to upgrade the NAD C388 (something with better DAC chipset/implementation?).Posting here for advice,...
New digital source recommendation
Thanks guys! Intended to ask how I could add streaming video to my NAD integrated so I could watch concerts and YouTube acoustic videos (Like a Version, and other 'studio' takes). Then this discussion turned toward Sony players, and I remembered m...
Fairly new to streaming. Where to start?
+1 for Bluesound Node2i.I have the NAD C388 (integrated Ncore-based amp) with BluOS2i integrated module (occupies one of the MDC slots). Heard NAD is discontinuing this topology - but they work great. WiFi, Amazon UltraHD, no cables, great interfa...

Which one? Paradigm persona 3f, Revel Studio2, Audiosolution Figaro L, Goldenear reference
@pbrown57 I completely agree about B&W. I keep a pair around just to remind myself what sounds too sharp when A-B’ing other speakers - because I have fallen into the ’detail trap’ before with those. For me, that additional information is great...
Which one? Paradigm persona 3f, Revel Studio2, Audiosolution Figaro L, Goldenear reference
I've been using GoldenEar Triton3+ for HT duty over a year now, after demo'ing the (then) entire GE line in Austin TX - while on a motorcycle trip. Removed both existing subs - no need for them with GE's. T3+ sound great even with mediocre power f...
Wide baffle speakers are better than narrow
Along with Onhwy66, I’d say it depends on speaker design.Narrow/wide baffle is not always better one way or the other. From my limited experience, wider the baffle, the more easily distinguishable point source for frequencies above the wavelength ...
The best tweeter is no tweeter
I agree with the Op based on one experience with LXmini's, that don't have a tweeter. Based on that one experience, I'd go one further and say the best speakers aren't in a box.
Blown away with 2 speakers hifi sound!
It's great to read people's excitement about gear upgrades!  Awesome, and I wish you much enjoyment.I too have excitement for my new gear. I find especially just after trying something new, that I am listening to the system more so than the music,...
Who knows something about Tri-channel 3-channel stereo for music (not HT)?
My thought on dispersion was to be able to widen placement of L&R and remove toe-in for wider soundstage by adding the third one in the center - all facing straight forward. I don't know if that will be completely achieved.Finding the LXmini c...
Who knows something about Tri-channel 3-channel stereo for music (not HT)?
Next build might include Manger full-range driver in the LXmini form-factor - they look very interesting. I wouldn’t be the first, so am not taking credit for the idea. https://mangeraudio.com/en/discover/about/the-manger-sound-transducer Well,...
