I used Cardas power cords and interconnects when I owned Accuphase. Worked well.

NAD still makes a fine 2 channel reciever. Sounds good and has 2nd set of speaker outputs.

Thorens currently makes a couple of models. Do a google search, I think either Music Direct, Audio Advisor, or Acoustic Sounds sells Thorens. 
What colors match for interconnects?
Red for right or positive. Red is always positive in electrical connections.

Just bought a nitty gritty, hear no difference.
Were the records dirty? Do you have a quality turntable that will allow you to hear any difference?At least you know they are clean now and sound as good as they can.I find the record cleaner works best on used vinyl that really needs cleaning.
