CD player suggestions...
Marantz CD60
Need suggestions on efficient book shelf speakers for a Pass Labs XA3.5
You should look at NSMT 15SE. They are built and sold out of North Carolina. Fabulous speakers that work with most all amps, certainly yours. I use them with a Naim NAIT 2...20 watts/channel. $1995 list factory direct
Need a easy drive speaker while I am traveling
Second the Marshall Bluetooth speakers. they are exceptional in the Bluetooth category
How many systems do you have?
Multiple, enough gear to have six or seven systems. Not all in use at the same time. Only 2 in my home. 1 in my beach condo
Can recommend some non-fatigue SMALL bookshelf for near-field listening?
Spendor, several models may fit your needs. They are definitely non fatiguing
How much gear do you own?
At least 7 integrated amps. 3 CD players, 2 turntables. 1 tuner, 2 streamers. Multiple cables, 5 pairs of speakers. That's only for two rooms.  In my late 60s time pair down, just been too lazy.
Listening to music I don’t particularly like
Not my thing. I love a good system, but love good music more. Rather listen to music I love on a substandard system than music I don't care for on a great system. That said, not too much music I can't stand
Soft, smooth organic SS integrated amps?
Another vote for Marantz++
