Audio Supports
My speakers don't have any threaded holes for spikes. I use 3 Herbie's big fat dots under them (two in front and one in the center back.
LP12 with Linn Silver T-cable or Nordost Frey,Tyr
I use a Nordost Heimdahl and really like it. When I owned an LP 12, I used a VDH Integration. It worked well.
Is my listeng room too small??
You'll never get anything to sound good in THAT closet. ;)
vintage turntables?
I owned and used a Phillips GA-312 (with the green tough lights) for nearly 17 years. I really enjoyed it. No I use an upgraded Mitsubishi LT-30 with no desire to change. Actually, the LT-30 replaced a Linn LP 12.
has anyone tried ps audio power cords on subs
Yep I tried one on my Art of Sound sub. Nothing special. Save your money, the Shunyata Venom works better than anything I've tried with my sub.

A major disconnect between the audiophile magazine
Not inherently "stupid". But many serious collectors of any number of things often exhibit "fiscal irresponsibility" setting standards of monetary value. Otherwise, thanks for the response.
A major disconnect between the audiophile magazine
I do use a re-capped, upgraded Sansui AU D-11 and upgraded LT-30 as the center of my vinyl rig. Given the value of this thread, my questions begin with:Let's assume vintage compares favorably to current equipment. Will the comparisons simply place...

Speaker footers – Ugh
Om my hardwood floor, I use Herbie's Big Fat Dots under my speakers.
Got $1000...how should I spend it?
Go vintage. You should be able to get some upgraded vintage equipment within your budget and the sound may surprise you.
