What is the best way to add subs in my system?
That would be Andrew Jones designed subs.

I've promoted a parallel connection from the speaker taps for a long time. I also am a big fan of dual subs. I use inexpensive but well-designed (the Phil Jones model) Pioneer 8in subs with Fostex full-range drivers in a medium size 17x35 room.
Rock with strings
Not much better than the flute sections with Marshall Tucker.
Admittedly a bit lost
I can tell you what I listen to without recommending you follow exactly the same path. I also have a 38 watt tube amp. In my home, I use speakers with Fostex drivers and dual 8in subs run in parallel. These will address your mid range preference a...
Shopping for speakers at $1500-$2000 is a chore.

Whats the weirdest concert you ever attended?
The Tubes at the Concord Pavillion.
tonearm cable vs regular IC + ground wire
Wireworld Atlantis 5 with a separate ground wire. Had Nordost Heimdahl dedicated phono cable with internal ground wire, didn't like it.
Is this a good leveling tool?
I use a digital straight level in the manner ZD explained. The digital readout is a bit more accurate than a bubble.
Component cable for long runs
I use the RedMere technology Hdmi cables from Monoprice. Great price, excellent cables, good quality build.
SUB-WOOFER RECOMMENDS
I have three subs in my HT, all different. They also serve different purposes, one LFE, one center and one surround. I'm a fan of multiple subs. I even use two in my two-channel stereo setup. If you go the multiple sub route, you will be VERY surp...
