Well I joined the Silversmith FIDELIUM Speaker cable club today
And yet another modification to my above post:  I mentioned a change from 10' Fidelium's to 12'.   Actually, I moved from 8' ones to 10' ones.  Ten feet is the longest Silversmith sells.

Oops, please NOTE:  The sentence in the 3rd. paragraph of my above post, should have included the word NOT, as in:  "The differences were NOT astounding, but there."

Fideliums look more fragile than they are.  However, finger tightening them or going a little easy on using a wrench to torque them down, is probably prudent.  Perhaps because of their lack of connectors, their use would be contraindicated if you ...

Speaker cable recommendation for Marten Django XL
I believe cable auditioning is mandatory.  With the 100's of companies fabricating 100's, if not 1,000's of cables, it's difficult to down select to a manageable few cables to audition.  Once you do though, I suggest you put Silversmith's Fidelium...

The Best Isolation/ Vibration Footers per component - what's your experience?
+2 For Herbie's Products - For the cost -- if NOT a stopping point -- an extremely inexpensive way to get ones feet wet (no pun).  In some cases, the expense is so trivial, pieces can be unregreatably "handed-down" to an secondary system, a relati...
speakers for a large room
My standard advice on speakers is sort out what "types" of speakers you prefer (e.g. boxed, open baffle, horns, stats ribbon planars) and then choose manufacturers.  As you now own panels, going to cones & domes may be problematic.  I have Sou...
