Kimber BiFocal XL vs. Carbon 18 XL + Jumpérs
My system is different - McIntosh MC 302 and Sonus faber Olympica Nova Vs....  I tried the 12 TC...wasn't impressed with the sonics and had a good experience with the company so I returned them and went with the Bifocal XL. I really like the sound...

I was very pleased with the Canare 4S11 and tried the Kimber Kables Bifocal XLI preferred the Kimbers significantly...and until they the Kimbers out performed the my previous AudioQuest Rocket 44s.So I recommend Canare 4S11 as a great budget wire ...
Turntables.....A point of diminishing returns?
@ Op really?A component sounding at a value based on its MSRP?  And comparing performance against the MSRP...I can understand performance varying company to company based on their IP and systems though I don’t expect that variation to be reflected...

Looking for a turntable around $1k...
I’ve experienced direct drive and belt drive turntables. I believe it’s about execution in the product versus the approach. For example a motorcycle with a chain, belt or shaft are different but the overall objective of riding motorcycles is the s...

Speaker Cables
I have been auditioning Kimber Kable’s Bifocals and they sound great - still questioning the dollar value but clearly sound better than other speaker cables in my system. Mixed feelings because I was happy using cheaper cables.
Looking for a turntable around $1k...
I think a Rega P3 is a great option - the great value of a P3 in my opinion is the upgrade ability and the basis for using a MC cartridge.  Here's the rub - streaming and CDs are 'more convenient' mediums so I would be inclined to get a P1 or P2 i...

Turntables.....A point of diminishing returns?

Looking for recommendations for a pair of full range speakers for ~8k or under
I like the models you are evaluating. And here’s my two cents....note - I’m on my 3 different set of Sonus fabers and I selected my initial Sonus fabers over the B&Ws.  The B&Ws tweeter irritated me ears - too bright. I’ve owned the Sonetto...
Thoughts on...SF Concertino Home (Existing) + SF Gravis I Sub (New)
I have heard a home theatre system with the Sonettos and Gravis subs and it was exception given the price point.  I would be surprised if the subs didn't provide you what you are looking for.I personally would be more likely to upgrade the amp sec...
Turntables.....A point of diminishing returns?
I'd like to say beauty is in the eye of the beholder....that is one ugly turn table.  I think they need to include some sort of turn table screen with it so the buyer only has to listen to it!
Recommendations for a modestly-priced audio system?
NAD D 3020 and a set of PSB book shelf speakers is another fine option.  And for what it's worth, $1000 can get you something worth listening too and can support music appreciation. The finest things in life don't cost any money - not that a set of...
