Has something gone wrong @ Stereophile?
I've been a subscriber since 1983!  Never missed an issue.  I get a renewal notice(s) about 6-9 months out every two years. I've had a few issues destroyed by the Post Office, but Stereophile had always replaced them without question.
Boutique caps in oil... reliable?
I've never had a Mundorf or V-Cap leak on me.
Widow here: Do I have a Rega TT-PSU or a Rega Neo TT-PSU???
Looking at the box and serial number, I think the power supply started life as a TT-PSU, but was upgraded to a MK2.   The Fono MC looks like a MK3, maybe a MK2, but there wasn't a big difference.

You're quite welcome! The big difference in the Neo & non-Neo is the Neo lets you adjust the speed through a hole on the back.  The TT-PSU is preset at whatever speed Rega saw fit that day. IMHO, the Neo is the better supply.

IIRC the order of initial appearance: TT-PSU Neo TT-PSU TT-PSU2 Neo TT-PSU2

Buzzing IC's
Looks like the sub has a "ground lift" switch on it?  Does that matter if it's on or off?
Buzzing IC's
If your sub has a 3-prong AC plug, use a cheater, (3-prong to 2-prong adapter) to see if it breaks the ground loop.
Tonearm/Cartridge pairing.
The Goldring E3 is a FANTASTIC cartridge!  I've been touting it on here for awhile now.  Everyone should get to hear one.  It's really something special.   Should work fine with the Technics, however, it's really owed a nice headshell. I'm assumi...

@bdp24...I've been told by people in the know, (well, I think they are) that there is no exact number each One-Step lacquer can press.  The amount was always between 400-700?  They have to keep a close eye and ear on them.

I've seen them probably 50+ times.  A few years ago, I saw them at both of the shows on the coasts, (Classic West & Classic East) they did with The Eagles and Doobies and Fleetwood Mac.  I have over 15 different copies of AJA alone.  Not sure...
