Suggestions on using a Roku w/external DAC? I just bought an HDMI audio decoupler from Amazon. Have not tried it yet, but intend to use the SPDIF coax out into my DAC (so I can stop using my TV's 44k optical out).

The effect of source and external "double DACs"? If I might add a question of my own:Would it be totally crazy to A) Run an optical out from a TV (only optical out for digital) to a DAC in order to utilize the coax digital out from the DAC since, in this case, the coax digital cable is much, muc...

Power amp suggestions for Peachtree & Triangle Nearly forgot...I had a Conrad Johnson MF2250. THAT was a great amp. Smoother than my Cary with more low end.I like that tone controls idea, though...
new preamp under $750 with remote, solid state... I replaced a B&K Pro 5 with a Parasound Halo P3-LOVED IT. Like night and day. It was great.

Power amp suggestions for Peachtree & Triangle I had a Cary CAD 200 Driving a pair of Triangle Zaya and Antals...One word: INTENSE. The mids were so clear and I could get them so loud, that I thought they'd blow a hole in the wall behind my listening position.I'd be real careful with the speak... |
