confused about 20 amp power cables Thanks! I believe the wire was 12AWG and the run is roughly 60ft. Most of the advice I've received has been to plug the amp into the 20A wall outlet.
T+A HVEQ room correction software I know next to nothing about DSP, but the APM board on the T+A could be analog, at least the acronym stands for Analog signal Processing Module. I have no idea how this might, or might not differ from DSP. I do occasionally use Roon, but it's no...
T+A HVEQ room correction software I may do that. I probably won't be using the software often, so if addresses change I may just set them as needed. I'm not expecting drastic results, I just figured since the amp had the APM board I might as well use it :)
confused about 20 amp power cables Thanks @jea48 -- I read the recent thread you participated in (AC Power in misc-audio), lots of good info in that thread. I may end up putting in a Furman P-2400 at some point.
T+A HVEQ room correction software Thank you, I'm fairly clueless about IPs and subnets. I thought it was strange to connect directly. Thank you @erik_squires . Apparently the T+A doesn't use DHCP. I connected both PC and T+A to a switch, changed the T+A IP address to be on same...
Magico A3 to A5 Damn, these interesting, relevant to me, threads always seem to end prematurely @rman9 -- How did things turn out for you? I have a T+A PA3100HV and A3s and am seriously considering A5s.
New Magico Speaker Break-in Question @jmeyers -- I hope re-positioning or time help to tame the speakers. Apologies for breaking in, but your post gave me pause as I am on the verge of upgrading from A3s to A5s. The A5s will be dealer demos from out of state with roughly 200 hrs. M...
confused about 20 amp power cables I ended up buying a 10ft, 10AWG cable with a 20A C19 female and 15A male to go right to the wall plug. The 10ft definitely adds some cost. I could have done a 20A male connector but I thought it might reduce the resale prospects if I ever wanted ...
confused about 20 amp power cables @williewonka @ditusa -- Thank you for your info.
confused about 20 amp power cables Bottom line... why the 20 amp IEC inlet connector? Better contact surface area??? Beats me why it was used. @jea48 Thanks-- That's kind of what I ended up wondering.
confused about 20 amp power cables @blisshifi -- Hi, yes I am that person. Nice to know that you worked with Michael. I will put the PS 3000 on my "down the road list". Next stop for me is a speaker upgrade :).
confused about 20 amp power cables @blisshifi --Thank you. Nice to know about the 10A fuses. This is really an amazing amp and I look forward to using a decent PC.
I Was A Skeptic Now I'm Not So Sure @deep_333 -- Thanks, that's what I thought was probably happening. I'll have to try it in my system when I get everything settled (LPS and optical isolation). For ethernet I've never had anything higher end than Blue Jeans cables, it will be inter...
I Was A Skeptic Now I'm Not So Sure To anyone on this thread, are you running the high end Ethernet cable from a switch to the endpoint device or, is it going from router to device or, from an upstream device to the endpoint,( ie Sonore Optical model or something similar)?
Innuous Zenith MK3 Thanks @bluethinker ! |
