Cayin CD50-T Anybody audition or own this? Fdhfdy: I found the tube on Ebay from an Aussie seller. It was relatively cheap too. I posted my findings in this thread.... http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?ddgtl&1207945057&openusid&zzMikeyc8&4&5#Mikeyc8Bottom line - i...
Recommended CD player below 1.5K There's a couple of threads that rave about the Cayin CD50T.http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?ddgtl&1168613212&read&keyw&zzcayin+cd+50tI have one and have no desire to upgrade (at the moment). You can pick one up used for hal...
Shindo Amp with JM Reynaud speakers? My 15wpc PP Montille drives my 90 dB Devore Super Gibbons to pretty good spls. The bass may be slightly lean, but I think that's a product of my room as others have reported good results with this combo. So I expect a 40wpc PP should do just fine.
is the Montille a real Shindo? So is this solder unsafe to handle with your fingers? Personally I'm not the techie type so I probably won't go near any solder in my gear, so I assume for a plug and play user like me its OK. I also assume the lead is just an environmental issue ...
is the Montille a real Shindo? Laurenta: this is the first time I've heard about this lead issue. Where is this lead, in the paint?
what should i keep, shindo or mcintosh Dmailer, what speakers are you running? I admit my Devore's are not super high efficiency at 90 dBs, I think that for the Shindo to really shine they need to be paired with higher efficiency speakers. Also, I'm sure your room has better acoustics ...
what should i keep, shindo or mcintosh Banklette, I think if you like dynamics and slam, the Shindo sound isn't for you. But if you crave tonal accuracy and a detailed but musical sound, Shindo is the cat's meow. My 15WPC Shindo amps simply don't do it for me for rock or large scale or...
what should i keep, shindo or mcintosh I agree with Uru975, you have already answered you own question grasshopper. If you want sound, go for the Shindo, if you want convenience go for the Mac. You aren't even tapping the full potential of the Shindo yet, try some Shindo interconnects ...
MM Cart or MC Cart with a SUT? I have a Project 9.1 with a low mass (8.5g) tonearm. Will a high compliance cart like the AT150 match well with it?
MM Cart or MC Cart with a SUT? So it sounds like a few of you think a straight MM will sound good? This is the most economical choice so I'd be silly not to give it a shot.
Help me fix my cartridge I checked my local Home Depot but they didn't have any taps or extractors that small. I also called up my local Dynavector distributor and they basically said that I was SOL since I bought it used. So it looks like my only alternative now is to dr...
Help me fix my cartridge Mark, yes I agree why use slightly different screws for carts so close in price, its not like I was installing a XV 1S or something? Unfortunately I bought it from a fellow Agoner so I didn't have the original bill of sale so I thought I was SOL. ...
Help me fix my cartridge Thanks Mjglo, do you know if the 2.5mm drill and tap is the right size for the cart? When I read Jependleton's response I don't think he's trying to sell me anything, he's just trying to help, so please cut the guy some slack. The reason why this p...
Selling to Canadians 9rw: what relevance does the "woman who spoke with a heavy accent" have here?
Selling to Canadians I'm Canadian and have bought numerous items from Americans on Agon. First of all, I pay via payapl in USD so there's no issue there. Also, sellers usually ask me to cover the shipping charge so there's no extra cost to the seller, and finally, if ... |
