Sagging power cable at IEC outlet - any remedies?
How about a 5 foot power cord that weighs less than 1 pound, and a strong gripping IEC?
Review: Michael Wolff power cords Carbon Gain Power cord
Simply the point that I am making is that I use carbon in a Power Cord. VDH uses it in an interconnect. Two different applications is all.Sure the web site is:http://wolffcords.home.comcast.net/Best Regards, Michael
Review: Michael Wolff power cords Carbon Gain Power cord
Zaiksman(Anyway, it's interesting to read about another cable using carbon - I'm currently getting into some VDH IC's employing carbon, the cable use of which I believe they pioneered, although I haven't yet tried their PC's. Enjoy your new cords!...
Replacing Captured Cords with After Market Cords?
I think the idea here is to eliminate any degradation of power which may be contributed by using the stock cord. If you put ANY device or modification before your stock cord, your stock cord will still degrade whatever is being fed to it. An add on...
Replacing Captured Cords with After Market Cords?
If you don't want to drill the box, just cut the cord, but leave enough room to work with, buy an IEC, install on cord, heat shrink it. Walla.Make sure you identify which wires are hot and which neutral right after you make the cut.

Any feedback on the new Wolff PC ?
I appreciate the feedback from you guys. Sean, I will do a little wordsmithing and may even use your word as written to clarify. I thought it was pretty clear that the SOURCE was designed exclusively for typical front end equipment which draws low...
Any feedback on the new Wolff PC ?
With all due respect to other cord manufacturer's. I owe them an apology and retraction on my earlier comment which implies that they provide no technical merit to their products. Obviously some do more than others. I guess my feathers were ruffle...
Any feedback on the new Wolff PC ?
One additional comment if I may add.I could build a carbon SOURCE cord that delivers 300 watts of continous power. But, it would'nt have the same sonic characteristic. I've tried it. What we accomplish by the smaller carbon ribbon is more speed, b...
Any feedback on the new Wolff PC ?
In reply to your concerns Sean. And, I do appreciate you stating them. Actually the CARBON SOURCE cord has been tested up to 20 amps. The limiting factor here is wattage. It was designed to handle front end components only. The reason that it was ...
