Anyone care to comment on Stone Image Audio Cattalani, Saw these little guys, myself, on Agon. Chasing their new site, only enters the abyss. Search for their name in yahoo, but click on "More from this site" when locating their Home site's fine print. Here's one: www.stoneimageaudio.com/Ro...
Headphone Gentlemen, Appreciate all your contribution of opinions regarding "cross-feed". I suppose it's just like anything else, in that one must personally audition this feature (easier said than done), though the mentioned models equipped with this, ARE ...
Headphone Azjake, Just inquired about the current Grace M901 Audiogon listing (now sold), and the seller stated it did not have the cross-feed feature like the new M902. The M902 is quite impressive, but also very expensive @ $1595. At that price point, Hea...

"Burn-In" quietly? Tgyeti, Use resistors. The "out-of-phase speaker" sugestion does not completely eliminate sound like "noise-canceling" headphones. Just be sure the resistors are 4 - 8 ohms (see your amp's specs), and rated adequately for wattage being fed.

Recommend Power Cable for Aragon 4004MK2 amp Hifi111,I live in Sac, but won't be back there 'til November. How 'bout I come by your place with some adequately-sized standard PC's, and blind-test YOU on your system? If you can't pick YOUR "Top-gun" cord, 4/5 minimum, then you go on record wit...
Replacement Fuse's - What are my options ???? Tbg, From the many years of observation, it's a no-win situation for anybody admitting not to hear differences. I admit being from the camp that requires much more than claims and personal opinions, since no one seems to agree upon standard testin...
Replacement Fuse's - What are my options ???? Tbg,Write back if you run accross an explanation during your reading adventures. With such R&D investment, one would expect patents of some sort (international), and maybe there are. Then again, maybe there's nothing involved, and wouldn't be ...
Replacement Fuse's - What are my options ???? Tbg, Isoclean's responses are typical of most manufacturers pertaining to their engineering, vs competitor's. No real rocket science to standard fuse construction, so I'm baffled as to how/why theirs can make a difference. I'm no newbee to electro...
Replacement Fuse's - What are my options ???? Bob P, I can't seem to locate any technical explanations for Isoclean's fuses, other than better materials, audible claims, reviews, and distributor sites. Nothing to explain the how/why directional aspect with regards to AC, DC, or frequency appl...
Jumpers - How good do they really have to be? Jaffeassc,Since I can't seem to locate any info regarding the Mani's "stock" jumpers, could you describe them? Flat bus-bar/strip types, or, fork or bannana connectors with short specialty wires, etc? If they are of quality "strip" types (electric...
Jumpers - How good do they really have to be? I concur with Newbee. Just look for simple jumpers that'll make decent contact between the binding posts, and "maybe" gold-plated for long-term corrosion concerns. Coming from someone who electronically measures circuits all day for a profession, ... |
