PSB Gold , NHT 3.3, Paradigm 100 V2?
Trelja is correct, definitely go with PSB Gold-i over Paradigm, I feel PSB Gold-i is a class above Paradigm 100. I am puzzled by the "bit bright" comment as JA in his enthusiastic review in Stereophile comments that the treble was actually a bit "...
Best CD Player for $1000

Please read april 2000 issue of Stereophile, RD has review of Furutech RD-1 demag. unit, recommended component in current issue. I have used radio shack bulk demag. unit for $40, but better and more convenient is Bedini Clarifier II for $150, or g...
Integrated Amps vs. Separates.
Despite the fact that there are some excellent high priced integrateds like Mark Levison, Jeff Rowland, Plinius etc seperates have distinct physical/design advantages that can only be had with two box approach. British have been making quality int...
What's most important?
Robt I have been brain washed by Linn since early 80s when I owned LP12 turntable, source is most important by far whether CDP/Turntable, and makes biggest single difference in sound quality. Of course some balance must be reached, but its the sim...
Will I blow up my tweeters by bi-wiring?
Agree with Trelja and OH61, if your speaker cables are expensive you probably will go with internal bi-wire cable, if cables are less expensive you may want to consider double runs which is slightly better sound than internal bi-wire. Only caveat ...
Speaker Front Cover
Ikinat, not that simple, you should listen both ways. Sound will be slightly brighter without speaker cover, and speaker manf may design speaker to sound more natural with cover in place. Try both ways and check with manf. for their recommendation...
What is the name of this song??
Please tell me you don't want to buy this song! Ranks right up there with "disco duck" as dumbest top 40 song of all time.....
Two integrated's for bi-amping?
Oatalay, I have no experience in your situation, I have very simple passive bi-amp setup because I use same brand, Musical Fidelity, and they were designed to bi-amped as an upgrade path and are matched gain etc. You are using different brands and...
Cable advice
Monster speaker cables must go immediately, for your price range get Analysis Plus Oval 12, $150 new for 8ft pair or go up to Oval 9 for $299. Used look for AQ Midnights. I do not share enthusiasm for PBJ others have here. It is very detailed, but...
Two integrated's for bi-amping?
Dekay you ideally should try to get MF X-AS100 amp and connect to X-A1 integrated using preamp out RCAs of X-A1. Use the X-A1 to drive the treble and X-AS100 to drive the bass of bi-wire speakers. You need two pairs of speaker cable for this passi...

Best
Morasp, I own several MF amps, integrateds, preamps and will probably end up buying an A3cr amp/preamp combo when the time is right, it pays to be patient when buying from Audio Advisor as price will eventually come down. I have read several revie...
