I remember that the first Monster Cable, I believe it was 12 gauge multi-strand copper, was the big deal of its time.  I think that was about 1979.  I replaced my 16 gauge lamp cord with it.  The original Tip Toes quickly followed.  That was the b...

At about 10 years of age I convinced my patents to get me an all-in-one stereo.  You know, the lid opens up to reveal a record player, the speakers fold out and you then lift them off of the hinges and about 8 feet of wire comes out of a small por...

It's either the dog or the records that fall into first place🤣   Steve, my copy is fairly quiet with just a little surface noise between songs.  That's not an issue at all.  However, the overall SQ seems to have a veil over it, a bit "muffled" s...

I've had my Degritter since last March.  I have been doing research for a while now on Tergitol, the proper mixture, application, pre-cleaning methods, etc.  I also have a Nitty Gritty so for used records that too lends a helping hand in a multi-s...

Jim, you have my attention on this.  It sounds as though you have a Degritter on backorder?  And with an extra tank?  It sounds as though you will clean with a Tergitol solution/mixture and then follow up with pure distilled water rinse via the se...

I have both of those Blind Faith albums.  Excellent music!  The young girl on the cover was a really big deal, back in the day.  I don't recall which graphic was released first.  I tend to believe the girl was first and then it was replaced by the...

@j_husker   I love that story.   Update; from the Dayglo reviews, yesterday I ordered the Yellowjackets album.  Only $8.24 including shipping.  It won't be just 1 day to receive it, but the price is more than fair.  I look forward to it. Also fr...

Awesome stories here today.   Jim, wonderful news on your negative test.  So sorry to hear about your aunt in AZ. I think that we all know to be excessively cautious right now.  COVID sucks! Roxy Music  "Avalon" David Crosby  "If I Could Only ...

Tears For Fears had two really great albums.  Holds well, to this day.   I saw Wendy O and the Plasmatics at Perkins Palace, in Pasadena.  And yes, they blew up a car on stage (signature performance stunt).  It was quite a sonic concussion.  And...
