Who says cables don't make a difference?
Well said.... :)
Who says cables don't make a difference?
Not many scientist inhabit an audio thread....Their time is very short and very full already by other finality than arguing...Debunking is not a scientific activity "per se" nor marketing a product is either ... Experience in audio even for 40 yea...
Miracles in Audio, by luck, by good choices,by design or by tweaking...
UpDATE Herkimer diamonds...Never put a golden plate near an amplifier...Some stones worlk miraculously good upstream an audio system, not so much  on an amplifier ou near it.... Try on the cables not on the amplifier.... The sound will be too comp...
Who says cables don't make a difference?
Anyone with an agenda, pro cables or anti cables, audiophile marketer or audiophile debunker has nothing to do with science....And technology is a servant of science, a slave of scientific endeavour not science by itself...It is truer with the pas...
You know you are an Audiophile when:
When you think about killing your wife to buy an amplifier....:)
Is there a magic formula for spending on components in a system
The speakers and room provide the vast majority of your impression of your system assuming competent amplification and source. This is right on and my experience...But controls of the acoustic of a room has 2 part: a passive well known one, easy ...

You can blindtest  some little change....You cannot blindtest total transformation because it is plain for anybody to see(hear)...It is no more  useful for anybody ....Blindtest is there to validate (marketting practice) or invalidate (debunkers) ...

I am with you on that..... My best....
Is there a magic formula for spending on components in a system
I prefer magic stuff to idiotic ramblings tough....Especially when it is against others and in their back.....
Anybody want a laugh?
Good faith is as important than the truth.....Otherwise how can we look for it?

50% at most must be attributed to the parts of the audio systems, more than 50 % to the complex embeddings...Which is the use of marvellous pricey speakers in a bad acoustical room?
Anybody want a laugh?
Yes i understand that.... But for me to increase the positive change i must know where and how and what i have done... At the end the change is so great and big, i will take the blind test.... It will be easy to win , but in my house, with my file...

More than 50% and probably under 60 % of the increased S.Q. will come from a rightfull mechanical, electrical, and acoustical embeddings...Then choosing well electronic components without figuring how to embed them will be costly in dollars and in...

Blind testing cannot even " perfectly" prove anything.... But supposing it can, it will disprove a particular change and only one...The art of audio embeddings imply a successive incremental chain of positive changes.... For that no blind testing ...
A challenge to the "measurement" camp
i understand but this decoupling cannot be perfect or absolute no? there is a trade-off implicated in the decoupling itsef....With or without power cord.... The regenerator is always linked to the electrical grid of the house and change the genera...
