Hi folks,Thanks for your help. I installed a ground rod outside and connected to the cable splitter with some copper wire. Nothin' doin'. I'm not sure I set up the ground rod correctly- can someone give me a run down on how grounding a system work...

Tube amp coffee table book
Hi,Sadly I don't remember the dealer's name. A friend and I stopped by on a whim and just took a quick look around. It's not "the tube amp book". Thanks though.

Triangle and Tau. It's a Spanish goat cheese. Best thing in the world. If you EVER come upon it, by as much as you can.
Tube rolling suggestions for Unison Unico
Hi Tvad,By lifeless I mean one-dimensional, kind of flat, and "slow" sounding. I wouldn't say there's a lack of body, but perhaps we're describing the same characteristic in different words. The bass is also not as strong as with the stock Phillip...
Tube rolling suggestions for Unison Unico

Woah. When was the compilation of Hilter's speeches made? There's nothing particularly fascist about your collection, don't worry :)

RACHMANINOFF PIANO CONCERTO 2
Van Cliburn and Ashkenazy are the two standards. I like both of those more than Rachmaninoff's own recording (which I have on 78!)This is one of the pieces that I come back to over and over. The haunting melody that reoccurs in all the movements j...
