Vinyl goes green! So ‘going green’ has resulted in cars run on lithium ion batteries- a dangerous and toxic production method that can’t be recycled - hydrogen fuel cells haven’t been supported. We have the annoying thunberg whose message goes out on mobile phones ...
how much should I spend to get a better turntable than my current turntable? If you are in Europe with 50hz as opposed to USA 60hz there is a Townshend elected rock with arm on e b a y uk
Which arms share the Rega Geometry? I think some of the funk firm arms
1st cartridge upgrade on 1st TT £1k is a good budget for an MC. Don’t feel limited on cartridges to just Rega over VTA - either get spacers or a Ringmat with vta adjustment as they apparently go really well with the RP8. For £1k I’m sure u can get the Shelter 301 or the cheapest...
Solid State Phono Stages Try and source a Vendetta SCP2A - or derivatives - and don’t worry about a phono stage again. I personally am not a fan of tubes although I haven’t tried enough to give an ipso facto critique. That said if you want a musical phono stage both thos...

Linn LP 12 I don’t have a Linn, however, I have heard two superb LP12: 1. vinyl passion - everything looked at and improved - machining quality is wonderful. 2. The funk firm - not sure if they still make it but also a vast improvement over any Linn bas...

Sourcing a top of the line Jvc mm I can’t go on yahoo marketplace from the UK.
Michael Fremer leaves Analog Planet @mijostyn I got into vinyl coz of djing in the 90’s and it being the cheapest format. How times change as dj’s use digital and vinyl is costly. The only reviewer I knew of was Alvin Gold. I agree with u BTW |
