Best cable is the Alpha Core in copper. Cannot be beat and good pricing.

I have a vestax and it is a clone of the the Technics 1200 only more versatile - it is not my main turntable but is good for spinning records and enjoying them again. Good value.

Electrocompaniet EC 4.7 Preamp-Opinions?
Electrocompaniet is great sounding stuff as long as it is sounding. I have the CD player and a 250 amp - only a problem developed with the amp and I sent it to the distributor in March and have not got it back yet. I got to listen to it for about ...
Krell - Martin Logan power question.
Get a good tube amp with some muscle - Mesa Baron is a good choice for the money - or even the Mcintosh 275 or if you have the funds the new one.
QUAD the company
Quad has two brand new models out - the 988 and the really great 989 with exntended bass response. If you are interested in a pair let me know.
Acoustech PH-1 Vs EAR 834P
The EARP is warmer with a more natural sound - real pleasing as the Acoustech is harsher and has an edge than brings on fatigue after a while.
Martin Logan Versus Magnepan
I have a pair of Newforms - they are now in a music classroom where it does not matter what is coming out. They are not seemless at all and boomy bass galore. Save your time and energy not to mention money.
