New Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2’s
I would say that depends more of your amplification. If you have a good solid amplifier with some watts and current, it plays very well. However, if you have a poor amplifier, I suspect it wouldn’t play nicely at low volumes.    as a side note, t...

Due to the limited accessibility of these speakers (no US distribution), they do have a 30 day free trial so that you can return it if you don’t like it. I think it’s like 50 or 60 bucks to return it. That being said, I’ve been playing around with...
Best standmounts with a 7" woofer/driver
Since I just bought them and love them: Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2. Yes I’m a fanboy now, but read the white papers. A Lyngdorf design.
New Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2’s
Wow. I purchased mine about two weeks ago. They were all available then.   i would also follow up that these speakers would do well in a 15 x 20 room. No problem.

All I would add, in my humble opinion, is that it has nothing to do with which technology they use, but it’s implementation. In this case, the implementation seems to be fantastic, though I do agree it’s not technically a close box

I can only compare it to the other speakers I’ve owned or do own - Of course, I’ve heard many speakers at shows but that will be going more for memory and there have been certainly some great speakers I’ve listened to but at much higher price poin...
Accuphase A-80
Get a good step down, go to acupwr.com. Make sure you check your max wattage the unit will consume. For instance mine was 350 watts so I had to get the 400 watt unit. They make units specifically for Japanese market items. I got one for my Luxman ...
Finally got a Luxman
@webking185, the Thiel CS2.4’s are not terribly difficult to drive, but you do need an amp that doubles down. I have driven them easily with an Audio Research 60w vintage amp for instance. What I have found is that what you need is quality watts. ...
Finally got a Luxman
I liked the 505uxii so much on my system with Klipsch Forte IV’s I got the 507Z (from Japan to save a few coins) for my system with Thiels. I’m moving currently so haven’t had a chance to put it in them yet.
Why have one if you can have two?
Actually, the same price since I got it from Japan. But what I said was out of the box it sounds similar to the fully broken unit and it’s on a pair of speakers that probably won’t benefit from that amp. However, I do believe my Thiels will exploi...
Integrated for Cornwall IV
I tried tube amps with my fortes, however, I found they didn’t really start coming alive/musical until I had very clean strong SS gear attached to it. Tube gear just didn’t give the base control. It also comes down to which SS amp do you use? Kli...
Integrated for Cornwall IV
Coincidentally, I just put a post about how my Forte IVs sound amazing with my Luxman 505Uxii and 507Z however, the 590axII (I think that’s the right model number) is class A and I bet it would be amazing with your Klipsch. The tone controls are a...
Thiel Owners
Hey team. Been a while. I really don’t have the time or tenacity to find the info in this epic thread!  But can someone post a link that most directly answers the question about upgrading the CS2.4 crossover and what parts are involved and if a ho...
Luxman 505uxii Class A/B operation
I’m. It sure I’m understanding.  I’ve seen on other websites is a Class A/B
Klipsch Cornwall IV and Luxman Integrated
I know this post is old but for posterities sake I’ll leave a comment: I have the Luxman 505uxii (class A/B) on my Forte IV’s. Sounds amazing. Super clean and controlled. The sound is large and lifelike. I’ve tried low power tube amps from Decwar...
