HELP!!! I need a “GOOD-CHEAP” preamp solution???
I also agree with those that suggested the Schiit preamps. I own several of their products and have not been disappointed, a lot of bang for the buck at their price range. Of course paying more for a preamp could deffinately buy you more as per ot...

Several good suggestions made by all above. Take a look at all the products for speakers made by IsoAcoustic's in order to get a feel for other ideas.
Amp - preamp or integrated
One more thought to add, I know many audiophiles (myself included) that have gone the entire gamut of what you have asked and have made changes in their systems simply to try something different, the need to experiment or perhaps boredom.
Amp - preamp or integrated
If one wants to simplify their system then go with an integrated, there are many available that sound very good.Otherwise separates would be the way to go.Technictly speaking good monoblocks should sound better however I have not been able to dete...
Vinyl vs high def audio i.e. 24bit / 96 or 192khz
I own high-end vinyl and digital equipment. Several years ago vinyl sounded better than digital however with modern technology in my opinion digital has caught and sounds great. As others have said if you don't already own a large collection of LP...
The Science of Cables
All I can say is some people get hung up on measurement and are too quick to say don't waste your money because all wire sounds the same...snake oil. I agree with those that say trust your ears...all I really care about (with-in reason) is what I ...

Knukonceptz 8 guage wire, bananas and interconnects
I have not heard the product however looking at their website the quality of the copper looks to be good {pure oxygen-free copper (OFC)} and I like the fact that they are already twisted. The Krux RCA Cable is pure oxygen free copper (OFC) drawn i...

Luxman Integrated - What do they sound like
Luxman assistance needed please; Will a Luxman Integrated amp purchased from Japan which states "AC 100V 50Hz/60Hz" work correctly in the USA or is there a problem?I'm guessing that because the unit is Japan 100V so I'd need to use with the step-d...

@68pete, from your post I assume there is a new MC-0.5 being produced? I looked on the HFC website but did not notice any?I did like the video that is there explaining how the MC-0.5 works...very interesting.
NEW Cerious Technologies Upgrade - Graphene Matrix Cables
@doitwithlife, Sounds to me like you can't lose either way. I ended up using my Graphene Matrix Gold on my Hemisphere and moved my HFU power cord to my Dac. You win either way. ;-)
Value of upgrading only 1 set of interconnects?
BTW: which Cardas balanced cables are you currently using?
Value of upgrading only 1 set of interconnects?
Answers will vary however I've experienced success with upgrading one pair of interconnects. If one has a good ear for music and an overall understanding of mixing and matching great success can be achieved. It's tunning the music to your preferen...
