| Best speakers for about $2000 a pair Grant Fidelity RBS-1 or PBN Mini Monitor. I would lean towards the PBN but both are exceedingly good for right at $2000. | |

| Why Von Schweikert VR-1 too lower price ? Tvad is 100% correct. Take advantage while you can. VSA makes some of the best loudspeakers available to the public. the whole "chinese speaker" excuse is so old and unjustified that bringing it up any more is embarrassing to the audio community. | |

| Plinius 8200 MkII and Paradigm Studio 100 v2? Plinius with ANYTHING is a good match. The 8200 has a very good power supply and should be able to drive Studio 100's very well. | |
| Good Subwoofer Amp Check into Crown or QSC pro amps. They will drive any sub all night long and beg for more. Some models do have fans but they are generally very quiet. Good luck! | |
| Tubes with Paradigm Reference 100?? I used a CJ MV-60 and it played PLENTY loud for my tastes. Sounded fabulous as well |
