Gryphon Diablo 300 vs Vitus RI-101 A little late to the party, and suggestions may be N/A by now, but if you are still looking to change the nature of your sound, you may also want to consider the Boulder 866 in that price range. Appears to lean more to the ’clean and clear’ camp l...
RCA interconnect recommendation If you call and speak with them directly, I think most small-medium sized cable companies nowadays will let you return their cables within a week or two if you don’t like them. You just need to get specifics and details and then be sure you adhere...

Back to Teo Audio cables as my last stand. You strayed my son from the Teos? And now you have returned? Put upon him a robe. And a ring. And let us kill a fatted calf for a feast. Who here condemns you? Neither do I condemn you. Go - (or stay-in and listen to music) - and sin no more. ...
PC for Gryphon Diablo 300 You didn't say what sound "tailoring" you may be looking for. I tried numerous power cords on my hybrid integrated amp, and finally settled on an old school Tekline silver power cord - which gave the sound a bit of a sparkle, added bass, and a j...
Musical Fidelity I use a Tri-Vista, supposedly the exact unit reviewed by Chris Martens in The Absolute Sound in 2003. I have upgraded the power cord and all of the umbilical cables and fuses, and really like the way it sounds. Detailed, delicate, organic, powerfu...
What process do you use to purchase cables? Look at what your speaker manufacturer uses to demonstrate their speakers. Power cords and interconnects are different; you can usually can find some boutique brands and diamonds in the rough used for pretty reasonable prices.
