Capacitor log Mundorf Silver in Oil
Absolutely Charles and Grannyring a speaker should sound great with the parts the manufacture supplies. I doubt very much that you would find any component that you thought was just ok transform into something fabulous with just better part changes.

It seems the crucial part of audio is the xover and power supplies in all other components. Ok everyone get your soldering irons out.

Lukasz slightly likes the sound of the big single box vs two boxes when I asked him at this past CES.
Speakers for SET 8 Watt 300B system?
I am not an audio note fan as their speakers seem to be dead sounding to me (way too warm, not enough air). I have only heard them in an all Audio Note system every year at CES.

I have an eclipse head unit and would sell it if anyone is interested.

Grannyring, I guess Lula wants to know if the Signature version is just as musical as the standard as sometimes when a component has very tight bass it may also have a little bit leaner overall balance.

His name is Jim White not Jack. His DSD circuit is a separate circuit than the PCM which is really the best way to do it. Other dacs upsample the PCM signal to DSD.

Its funny Grannyring all you had to do was to buy a good reasonable transport like the PS Audio hook it up to the Lampi and I think you would have changed your mind.
Tonearm Options for Basis 2800
Nice try but I don't change my equipment that often. I had the original Vector arm and never upgraded to the 4 and enjoyed it for all these years.

Pops the Vector 4 is great and I know you will enjoy it. The 9 is over kill as far as price is concerned, but it does play at another level.

Why do my rolling stones albums sound bad?
My freshman year I was pegged with Bob Seger Mainstreet and the group Boston to death.
