Walker Audio Proscenium Turntable: Photo Essay Wouldn't it be funny if a DIY LENCO TT would blow this away in sonics and performance?? It is a giant killer as many have said. I wish I'm a DIY guy--Looks more satisfying. For the meantime I just have to settle with my VPI TT.

What is the lowest LOMC you guys know of??? Ze_ant Defenitely this Ortofon SL 15E is not 0.015mv. I was told that I should mutiply that by 5 to get the correct output, which came out to be 0.075mv. So the specs should be correct. 0.04mv, 0.067mv or 0.075mv or there abouts. I find this cart....
VPI HRX? AudioblazerNO. The only danger is if your cart is a real low profile. eg. Dynavector Karat 17D2. I think the peripheral ring is a very big plus on this table. I don't imagine that there would be a big difference in my current set to an HRX. except...
VPI HRX? I've read the same thing, and been thinking about the upgrdade. I think Harry W. wants 11k for it. That would be around 6K more from my current SuperScout Master. The big question of course "Is the sonic difference worth the 6K??"

What is the lowest LOMC you guys know of??? RaulIf the gain on the phono stage is not enough, which one is giving us the wrong information?? The 79 db gain or the 0.015mv output??I'm currently listening to it right now at about 90db. My preamp is at 9 oclock--6 0clock being zero.
What is the lowest LOMC you guys know of??? Hdm and DccI am using a BAT VK-P10SE with Super Pac Phono Stage. I have it set up to the highest possible gain. I believe it's 79 db or 86db I have to check my manual. This Phono Stage will deliver what ever you ask her to do. It's one of the bett...
