Where are you getting the nine knocking test tones from?
Albums you do not get...a plea for help and understanding
Zappa. Just don't get it.  Purple rain. Spun it recently and didn't make it through the first side. Laurie Anderson. Want to understand, I just don't

These are all great tables mentioned here. The worst will sound better than the best with very minor set up differences. Learn to align your cartridge and make minor adjustments in VTA. No one can do this for you, they don't have your ears and sou...
180g … It’s All Hype !
I agree. I don't buy expensive records. I get great satisfaction from finding great sounding, quiet playing records for $3. A 180 gram record will sound different if you don't adjust VTA.
Why are Nottingham Analogue Studio turntables so expensive in USA?
I think the 3300 pounds is without arm. Price with arm in US dollars is about $5233 US. $6950 is the U.S. price. Typical markup for imported high end audio.

Check out Louis Armstrong's vintage audio system
Wonder what  Louis had on the reel to reels.
PROAC D48R Bass Booming
I own older Proac 3.8's, and know for a fact they do not work well in a room that small. You should try stand mount monitors with a sub unless you want to go with digital room correction.
