Best debut album
Van Halen’s 1978 debut. I was 10 years old. This album still holds up 40+ years later. How about Nirvana’s Bleach? Pearl Jam. Stone Roses.
Tempted to buy a Macintosh
I have the MA252 running Maggie 1.7s; I also have a Sony HAP Z1ES digital player (and vinyl too).  The MA252's sound is slightly warm and creamy smooth. A decent amount of detail too.  Since I'm running Maggies, I have to turn the volume up to 60+...
Should I buy a VPI SCOUTMASTER. I OWN 25 RECORDS.
Jeff, I took the plunge (replunged actually) into vinyl about 20 years ago. I still have my Music Hall mmf-5 and Lehmann Black Cube phono preamp, and the music - jazz and rock mostly -  is almost always glorious. And it’s a lot of fun sifting thro...

Syzygy sub app not responding
I received an email from Syzygy with instructions on the firmware update for the sub as well as the new version of the app.  The instructions are pretty straight forward.  Make sure you have a USB jump drive to copy the file onto. You'll then plug...

Recommendations for bookshelf speakers
I bought the SVS Ultra bookshelf speakers about a year ago. They are fantastic. Silky smooth, tight bass. I’d check them out for sure. Good luck.
