Loudspeaker - Amplifier Combination
great speakers..and yes, your power is sufficent...bi amping however would give you more power and perhaps a little more control, but may not improve the overall sound...sometimes less is more for that totem midrange.
Physical explanation of amp's break in?
there is no break in...its you getting used to the sound
Plinius 8150 vs. 8200 Mk II
none..they have the identical sonic character..
Levinson No. 383 v. Musical Fidelity Trivista 300
the levinson integrated(along with the rowland, the mac,the vac and the arc are all in a different league than the music fidelity..its good, their great.
Church AUssie Remasters....
i'm on my 3rd round of these titles, and yes they are worth it for the extras alone...the audio is better than the older cd releases, but not dramatically so...if you're a fan you'll need them all,if not, start with the blurred crusade.

the fisher is going to make the bass disappear in either speaker....keep the nad and the spicas(the tc50's may be the finest small loudspeaker ever designed)...although the vandy 2c's can indeed rock i believe getting rid of the tc50's is a mistak...
Beatles albums on MFSL CD's
they are pirated.
arc vs electrocompaniet
the mcintosh 205(changer),pink triangle numeral, roksan caspian....all sound 'natural'like the best analogue..and all blow away most of the mega expensive and hyped players...sorry for the delayed response, i was on vacation.

older LPs - different EQ?
i think the curve on the lp(33.33rpms) has been the same since the beginning...i wouldn't worry about it.
McIntosh MCD-205 Changer?
the mcd 205 is the best thing to happen to digital front ends in a long time...very warm and natural sounding, extremely well built(second to none) and a changer to boot...it also handles disce better than anything i've owned. this thing is outsta...
