Is positive reinforcement why things are sounding better?
Peer influence...positive or not. Heavy components...usually best? Written, purchased reviews carry water. Elder opinions carry even more. Credentialed engineers carry the most. But loud persistent ones may win in the end. And measurements a...

Stereophile review of the $30,000 tekton speakers
Adjustable ohms, multiple choices for tweeter material...sounds like pizza at KFC.
Thin Line Between Critique and Courtrooms: A Dialogue on the Recent Audiophile Drama
And 2 years from now Tekton will rebrand itself. Another unfair corporate benefit. Money, lobbying by businesses, supported by legislators overwhelming the people. Government of the corporation, by the lobbies, and for the lawyers.
Stereophile review of the $30,000 tekton speakers
They would be disruptive to my marriage.  And it didn't help that "disruptive" was the middle name of a Tekton fan boy. Or did it? One more thing....marketing disruptivity...an Amazon or Dollar General principle?

Anyone listen to Music on a FM tuner anymore?
I have 4 vintage tuners and a Krell receiver that I use at our mountain cabin. No wifi, no phone, no tv...just WNCW on 24/7 while there. Books, Scotch, Pipes, and dogs. Glorious.
"The Mystery Of Sound Is Mysticism"
I also agree with Mahgister, but wish he would express himself via Haiku.
"The Mystery Of Sound Is Mysticism"
Music is not a mystery. Combine it with alcohol and wait nine months.
What is meant exactly by the description 'more musical'?
Engineer types explaining musicality. Like Sherwin-Williams explaining Rembrandt.  Read Keats aloud and get back to me
