DIN Phono Cable @lewm Thanks….I understand. I mentioned earlier in thread I did not think I needed a 90 degree DIN. Since the connection points straight down and the plinth is like 2” thick. TT does sit on a platform so as it comes out yes it will need to bend...
DIN Phono Cable @maxson Thanks……I think I know what you mean. The cable will come straight down from the tonearm connection. I don’t see any crimping possibility.
DIN Phono Cable @vinylcat That is my main issue, trying to make sure that small pin is the right one (orientation). I have a msg into ProJect asking......Their website nor product page mentions anything about it. Thanks!
DIN Phono Cable All great info people!! I know that I do not need an angle DIN connector, as the tonearm sits in a arm hole on the plinth that has no angle path. The DIN on the arm (image below) is pointing straight down and the shaft under the table is a straigh...
DIN Phono Cable @grinnell @lalitk Thanks! I have a Project Xtension 10 and the DIN end looks to go straight up into the tonearm bottom, no angles. What I’ve seen is a DIN A or B (I think) and it looks to be about where a small pin hole is, maybe a click lock. ...

Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too? The Beatles….horrid vocals and subpar musicians.
LYRA CARTRIDGES VIDEO I only use the SPT cleaner once every 2-3 records. I know Lyra states you can use it after each play, but that seems excessive. Both videos are very good.....
I'm curious. What is your "normal" listening volume? 485 dB measured at my normal spot...
Who positions their speakers straight ahead (zero tow in) and why. My Rega RX5 towers with woofers outwards and no toe in. Speakers are designed with a wide dispersion and it certainly plays that way. The most toe in I’ve played with is very minimal maybe 1/4”.
SVS SUB BETTER WITH LOW PASS FILTER OFF @allears4u Yes u can try that. Subs are all about experimenting, but for sure you only want to use one crossover, either the sub or the integrated. I never hi pass or low pass my mains, just did not like the performance. Set the crossover around 1...
SVS SUB BETTER WITH LOW PASS FILTER OFF Soon as I read the OP, I realized he has both crossovers engaged, preamp and subs, disabling one of them will produce the best performance. I have dual SVS SB2000 and was using a Halo HINT which has bass management system including high and low fi...
What contributes most to a change in how an amplifier sounds? Looks….If the amp looks ugly it will play as such. LOL |
