Leben CS600 vs McIntosh MC275 I have owned both at different times. Both are worth demo'ing in your room with your equipment and will give different results. Remember your hearing is as different from others as your fingerprints, as is your room & equipment. The Leben is e...

Sub. with full range speakers ? I have been asking myself the same question. Here is what may be worth considering...Space, the final frontier...size of room...the larger the room with open adjacent areas need more cubic air movement by the sub to get the same "coupling" effect ...
REL Subwoofer Cable Upgrade? Mogami 2549 DIY or have Redco make it up. I use screw-on compression bananas on the amp out and reused the stock neutrik which has the screw terms. Some but not all prefer compression, WBT etc, over soldering for better signal transfer...Enjoy you...
SET for 88 dB 4 ohm loadspeaker Any amp that is designed to deliver the current neccesary for your personal level of musical enjoyment...ie Manley Neo 250 (EL34) or 500 (KT88) in ultralinear (SET) mode and others come to mind ...
Mullard EL34 as a choice for your amp. The New Sensor version of the KT77 is due out shortly...if by experience it can duplicate the quality of sound & reliability of their "KT88 Gold Lion Genelex Reissue" they will have another option worthy of consideration...Enjoy your music!

Phono Amps The micro current / voltage world is a curious universe. Combine that with the differences in the brain / ear interface and the fear of the emporer's new clothes and the perceived risk / fear factors also amplify with system synergy / compatiblity... |
