Cornwall IV and subwoofers
I have the Cornwall 4’s in a 14x30 room with an SVS SB3000 sub. The sub fills in the bottom octave nicely. I never thought a sub was necessary until I actually tried it. Big improvement.
Advise for new speakers for my basement exercise room
I also have a large work out room but I mostly ride a stationary bike. If you are mostly stationary when exercising you can go with very near field speakers and possibly a subwoofer. This set up will eliminate most of the reflection issues.
Easily the best and most significant sonic tweak one could ever make!
@agosto .  I had similar concerns about the sound being degraded with hearing aids. It depends on the type used. I use open type with microphone outside ear and tiny tweeters inside canal. The small tweeters do NOT block natural sound. They only ...
Question about Tone Controls + Equalizers
I no longer do vinyl and since I got my hearing aids, which work excellent BTW I never use EQ with speakers. However with headphones which account for about 30-40% of my listening I either use Roon DSP or my Schiit Loki. Until I got my hearing aid...
Guttenberg's Cornwall IV Review -- I'm in trouble
I also traded my recently purchased Forte 3's for the Cornwall 4's. I could not be happier. They are Forte 3's on steroids. Much bigger sound, not just bass but mid range also. I have them in a large room and they really fill the room with sound. ...
Honest opinions on my two picks of loudspeakers
I just ordered the Cornwall 4's and very much look forward to your review if you would share. Thanks.
Klipsch speaker choices
I bought a pair of Forte 3's in June and I love them paired with my P.S. Audio Stellar S300 amp. I like the sound so much I am trading up to the Cornwall 4 for an even fuller sound. My dealer is giving me full trade in credit.
What's a really great Streamer/DAC box for just streaming Tidal?
@dtximages I have limited experience with streamers (PC, Mac, chromecast and now Bluesound Node 2. I can confirm the Node 2 using coax out sounds the best and significantly better than the Chromecast.
Klipsch, introduces The Cornwall IV, and I think it will be a killer !
I purchased the Klipsch Forte 3's in June and I'm considering moving up to the Cornwall 4 when they are available. I love my Forte 3s but a little fuller and deeper sound would be better yet. I just love the way they sound good at any volume. My f...
JBRADIO2 sound quality
I am thinking the difference has nothing to do with bitrate or codec because I can hear the difference on the lossy 320k streams as well. I suspect they are doing some kind of DSP that I mostly like. Kind of a more subtle loudness EQ.
What equipment have you bought this year so far ?

RadioParadise streaming FLAC
@jbuhl  I now use Mac OS app instead of browser and it works great.
RadioParadise streaming FLAC
Listening to Radio Paradise on Node 2  and it sounds great.  It also sounds good on iPad and iPhone.  For some reason when listening on the Mac through a browser it sounds lousy. 🤔
New Bluesound's Node 2i
I have the Node 2 and use ethernet so the only improvement for me would be the Airplay 2 which I can't think of a use for off hand.
Tidal, Deezer
Keep in mind that the download option is only available for mobile devices and not PC or Mac.
